Our guiding principle is reflected in our name, 7th Legacy, LLC. Tribal teachings instruct us to think in terms of seven generations. Imagine seven generations prior to this present one and seven generations forward into the future from this one.
This philosophy is a guiding principle to the Anishinaabek (Native People) and therefore is what we consider when making important decisions. We must keep in mind is the decisions we make today will affect seven generations in the future.
The Seven Generations philosophy intensifies the bond of community, promotes stability, and provides concrete values with which each person can test his or her everyday actions.

Our Mission is to facilitate successful projects and cross-organization relationships between entities including:

Vision
We want to create a dialogue where a Tribe’s concerns, issues, and cultural values are brought to the forefront during all economic and community discussions, so that they may benefit from the prosperity around them without adverse impacts to water, land, and Tribal spaces.
Our goal is to bring authenticity and ethics in all our working relationships with all of the disparate entities that we meet at the table.
